1) Make up their names: Tom and Dom 

2) Where do they work/study? Dentist and Newspaper journalist 

3) What do they do in their spare time? Gym , travelling and golfing 


Now suggest their media consumption:

Print: What newspapers/magazines does your group read (if any)? Is this on paper or tablet?  Daily mail 

Broadcast: What TV programmes/channels do your group watch? Radio stations? TV package – Freeview or Sky? Films? Sky TV 

Online: What technology do they own? What websites do they visit (if any)? What social media do they use?  Iphone 15 , samsung TV  , Imac 



1) Post the details from your in-class psychographics presentation to your blog with all details of the couple you created and their media consumption (it needs to be on your blog individually but can be a duplicate of your partner's post). 

Strong goals , confidence , high work ethic alongside organisation .

2) Reflect on what you have learned about psychographics. Which psychographic group do you feel best fits YOUR lifestyle and personality? Explain how and why you made your decision and provide evidence justifying this.
Every person suits a certain psychographic group . Explorer. I am still in school learning about life and I am ready to withhold information .

  1) Social learning theory has been criticised for simplifying the causes of violence in society. Do you think the media is responsible for anti-social behaviour and violence? I think the media is responsible for anti-social behaviour and violence as they have control to what is given to audiences which majorly impacts behaviours upon society . 2) How is social learning theory relevant in the digital age? Reception theory

  1) What are the preferred, negotiated and oppositional readings for the RBK 50 Cent advert? The preferred  reading is that Reebok is open to individuality  which can be displayed with 50 cent being proud of who he is hence the statement ' I am what I am ' . The negotiated reading is the readers may view the bullets as 50 having been short and surviving linking to the resilience  of the shoe similar  to his resilience . An oppisitional reading is that readers may dislike 50 cents past and music career therefore leading towards not purchasing the shoes . 2)  What are the preferred, negotiated and oppositional readings for the advert of your own choice that you analysed for last week's work?
